With flexible indoor and outdoor event venues in Keystone, K Bar S Lodge solidifies its standing as South Dakota's premier meeting and events destination. Available to You
- Discounted block of sleeping rooms at the K Bar S Lodge
- Hot tub room for the wedding couple at the same group rate
- Complimentary Bridal Room for the bride and attendants to get ready in
- Complimentary Groom Room (subject to availability)
- Provide and set up tables and chairs (includes set up and tear down for indoor and outdoor ceremony)
- Placement of linens (your choice of white, ivory, or black), napkins, silverware & water/wine glasses on tables
- Four hours of security (times will be at the discretion of the KBarS Lodge. Anything beyond 4 hours is $25 per hour plus 6.5% tax)
- Dance floor at no charge unless you want it moved to a different location ($250 fee if it is moved)
- Clean up after the event (garbage, etc.) we will gather your center pieces and put them in a separate area for you to pick up the next day
- Use of breakfast room or living room the day after the wedding to open gifts (subject to availability)
- AV equipment (screen, projector, extra cords)
- Cupcake stand, extra tables for cake, gifts, DJ, guest book
- Use of fire pit - it is public area of the hotel, open to all guests until 11 pm

The Lakota Room is a perfect choice for receptions of all sizes. A flexible setting with a max capacity for up to 200 guests, we offer the services and amenities to make your celebration a success.
Dakota Room

Perfect for medium to large-sized meetings, the Dakota Room is completely furnished with audiovisual equipment, a high-definition projector, built-in screen, and microphones. The room can be transformed into multiple seating layouts, and can be split with a temporary wall.
Gold Room

Perfect for small meetings, the Gold Room is completely furnished with audiovisual equipment, a high-definition projector, built-in screen, and microphones.
FAQ's
- What if I need equipment not listed? Just ask! We provide an assortment of equipment for indoor and outdoor weddings. Any equipment needed for a wedding must be rented by KbarS Lodge. Pricing will depend on the item(s) and insurance costs.
- Does KbarS Lodge handle decorating? No, groups are in charge of their own decorating.
- Do I need to worry about the 1880 Train? For outdoor ceremonies at certain times of the year (namely in the summer months), the 1880 train runs right by K Bar S Lodge and the train whistles can be very disruptive for an outdoor ceremony. Please check with their website for train whistle times before setting your ceremony time for outdoor ceremonies.
- Can we take left over menu items from the buffet home? Due to health standards we cannot let you take home any left over food items.
- Are you pet friendly? Yes, we have two pet friendly hotel rooms available. However, pets are not allowed in the banquet buildings.
- Do you charge a corkage fee? Yes, the corkage fee is $15 to bring your own bottles of wine.
- Does KbarS have preferred vendors? Yes, we are happy to provide upon request our vendors list
